One of our favorite friends to work with is Lori Horvilleur who started her own treasure-hunting business last year. LoHo Vintage was born from a love of all things antique and thrifted, and Lori sells her beautiful finds via Instagram (@lohovintage) and pop-ups around Houston. We know exactly who to call when we need an accessory that’s special, unique and timeless. Lori always has just the right thing!

Lori exudes incredible style and has helped us source some fab pieces for KKI’s new office space. We’re thrilled to feature LoHo and her fave finds on our blog.

How did you get into what you do creatively? For the purest of reasons ~ I’m obsessed with vintage and antique pieces! Placing meaningful objects into homes brings me incredible joy.

What inspires you? Watching Homeworthy episodes on YouTube always has me rearranging my own home. Visiting New Orleans and looking at homes and landscaping. Every great find has me chasing the next one. (KKI: We are big fans of rearranging furniture to keep things fresh at home ~ and Nola is always a treasure trove of inspiring homes, gardens, vintage stores, art, and meals! Also, googling Homeworthy on YouTube right now . . . )

What are your favorite things to thrift? Brass, always! I have the best brass queen customers so I’m always on the hunt for brass. Having one or more vintage cocktail shakers on a bar is very chic, so I always grab those. Unique glassware, especially Culver and colored glass, to step up your glassware game. And vintage pottery is always on my lust list.

And what is your most favorite find of all time? In the spirit of more is more, I have a few. First, a 6’ tall vintage sculptural brass palm tree that transports me to Palm Springs every time I look at it. Second, a curvy goatskin console table from the 70s that is incredibly sexy. Third, last week I scored an antique envelope card table which was extra special because my daughter found it with me.
