This service is identical in process to our Full Service Design offering up until the project management stage—you get to handle the ordering, receiving, and installation (great for those who prefer a more hands-on approach).

We take care of everything—designing, purchasing, installing, and styling—in our signature, white glove experience.
Once you hit inquire, you'll receive our Investment Guide and a more in-depth Questionnaire. We'll review your answers, and if your project sounds like a good fit for us, we will reach out to schedule a Discovery Call.
After our short Discovery Call, we schedule a more in-depth Design Consultation, where we discuss details about your space (like square footage, any challenges you're experiencing, and your preferred design aesthetic), and start to build a preliminary project scope.
After we complete your Design Consultation, we prepare and send over a proposal based on your project's scope of work. If you accept, you'll sign our Client Services Agreement and pay your initial deposit. Then, we schedule our Kickoff Meeting!
Our 60-90 minute Kickoff Meeting takes place at your home, where our team completes a full assessment of the space. We'll take measurements, capture photos, and note inventory already owned. We also discuss budget and set target dates for project milestones.
After presenting our initial ideas and inspiration to ensure we're on the same page, we'll present our official design presentation, customized to your home and project needs. Once refinements are completed and final selections are approved, we'll order your items.
We oversee billing, shipping, receiving, inspection, and warehousing to ensure all items arrive on schedule and in top condition. We also source and order all accessories for installation day. Site visits to your home are scheduled and carried out as needed.
Our favorite part of the process! Our dream team installs all of your items, from furnishings to window treatments to lighting, down to the last (but not least) detail. We style and accessorize the space for your very own HGTV reveal and special family moment.
On average, Katie K clients will invest a minimum of $25,000 in living and family rooms and a minimum of $10,000 in children's rooms and nurseries. This includes all furnishings, window treatments, rugs, lighting and accessories but does not include our design fee.
This depends on the size and scope of each project. In general, the timeline between the Discovery Call and the Design Presentation runs about 6-8 weeks. Once the design is approved and the ordering begins, it can take a minimum of 8-10 weeks until installation. The only exception is nurseries. We can fast track full service nursery design—just let us know when you're due!
Yes! We love to hear the stories behind your prized possessions and want your new spaces to feel like home. This is especially important for children's rooms—we understand how important certain items can be to our littles!
At this time we offer kitchen and bathroom renovation services only to clients who are furnishing multiple rooms or are working with us on a new construction project.
